Northumberland National Park Authority is looking for a Fundraising Assistant to support our Communications and Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in helping us secure funding that protects, enhances and celebrates one of England's most iconic National Parks.
Working closely with our Fundraising Officer and Head of Communications and Development, you'll help deliver fundraising campaigns, support funding applications, steward donors, coordinate communications, and ensure our supporters receive an excellent experience.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting fundraising activity and funding applications
- Helping to build and maintain relationships with donors and supporters
- Creating and scheduling engaging social media content
- Updating website content and maintaining digital assets
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting reporting
- Providing administrative support across the Communications and Development team
We're looking for someone who has:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong administration experience
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- A collaborative approach and commitment to excellent customer service
Experience in fundraising, the charity sector, social media or website content management is desirable but not essential.
