Wansbeck Supported Living Service supports individuals with learning disabilities and personality disorders who may display behaviours of concern, helping them live in their own homes and choose the lifestyle they desire. We are a CQC registered service striving for outstanding quality. We provide a 24/7, person‑centred service covering all aspects of life: personal care, dietary needs, domestic tasks, enjoyable activities, community access and keeping family and friends connected, promoting a high quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients 24/7, providing personal care, dietary support, assistance with domestic tasks, recreational activities, community access and family contact.
- Adapt support based on individual needs, working a monthly rolling rota covering early, late and night shifts.
- Implement person‑centred care plans and respond to behaviours of concern in a positive way.
Minimum Requirements
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 in health and social care or equivalent.
- Successful enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service clearance.
- Willingness to undertake further training to meet service needs.
- Desirable: a full UK driving licence.
Salary and Hours
Salary: £26,403 – £28,142 (NCC Band4, full‑time equivalent). Hours are scheduled on a monthly rolling rota.
