About Staff Bank Northumberland County Council’s Staff Bank provides a pool of highly skilled temporary workers who are looking for a long‑term placement, or who want to work flexibly within the council. If a team needs support due to sickness, common staff shortages, or general vacancies, they call upon registered bank members to fill available assignments. These can be filled via a long‑term assignment for up to 12 months or on an ad‑hoc basis. Salary will be dependent upon the nature of the work you are asked to undertake.
About the Role
- Maintain information systems such as filing, service, client or asset records, booking systems and reference materials in a manner that ensures accuracy, confidentiality, rapid access and ease of use.
- In accordance with service demands provide general office services such as photocopying, collation, fax, lamination, binding and possible reception duties.
- Other duties appropriate to the nature, level and grade of the post.
About You
- You will be a team player with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, who can follow instructions and procedures without constant supervision and work flexibly to cater for the varying demands of this role.
