NCC operates 5 children’s homes including a national secure children home with education. Overall, the service employs 130 care staff and 30 support services staff across the 5 sites. Our Homes accommodate 25 young people aged 6 – 17, our main aim is to offer an exceptional family focussed caring environment where children and young people can feel safe and excelled in their abilities and futures.
The service is regularly inspected by Ofsted, currently our homes are rated as Outstanding or Good with outstanding leadership and management. It is crucial that everyone in our team is committed to the best safe care of our young people.
Who we are
Kyloe House is a state-of-the-art secure environment with first class facilities. Our approach is to provide exceptional care. Kyloe House cares for young people in secure accommodation with orders as directed by the courts, who need support and intervention in a safe and caring environment focusing on education and training in vocational skills, life skills and social skills.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated and flexible person to provide a domestic service within Kyloe House Children’s Secure Home, Netherton Park, Stannington.
Working 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean home including living areas, bedrooms, school areas and offices, complying with hygiene and health and safety legislation.
You will have experience of cleaning in a care setting and interacting with young people/service users in a caring manner.
