Northumberland County Council is recruiting for experienced Social Workers and Social Work leaders across a range of services supporting children, young people, families and adults throughout the county.

Current Opportunities Include:

  • Adults Social Worker (Across Safeguarding, Care and Support and Substance & Alcohol Teams)
  • Emergency Duty Team Manager (Adults social care)
  • Team Manager (Adults Care and Support Teams)
  • Children's Social Worker - Kinship Team
  • Social Work Lead (Advanced Practitioner) - Kinship Team
  • Child Protection Advisor / Independent Reviewing Officer
  • Senior Manager - Care for Children and Leaving Care Team

For these roles you must be:

  • An experienced Social Worker, with a completed ASYE
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Have a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes
