The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

You will provide an efficient and effective street cleansing, public convenience and grounds‑maintenance service to pre‑determined standards and in accordance with pre‑determined schedules. Normal working week, Monday to Friday, with occasional evening, weekend and emergency call‑out work.

Responsibilities and qualifications:

  • You must have an understanding of the role of a Grounds maintenance, Public Convenience maintenance or Street Cleansing Operative.
  • You must have relevant knowledge of the range of tasks together with the operation of associated tools and equipment.
  • You will have the strength, dexterity and co‑ordination to deal with plant and operate equipment.
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • 26 days annual leave plus public/bank holidays, rising to 31 days after 5 years of service (pro rata for part‑time employees).
