Overview

Due to the current postholder going on maternity leave, we have an exciting development opportunity for someone to step into the role until 31st March 2026 (in line with current grant funding). This is an exciting opportunity to gain some experience and personal development, as well as help consolidate and build on activity in Lynemouth and Newbiggin as our Community Coordinator.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB

Responsibilities and requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of community engagement / community development
  • Experience of developing and maintaining partnerships
  • Valid UK driving license would be beneficial

The team works collaboratively with a vast network of partners including the community and voluntary sector to provide help and support to residents. Community building is a key role of the service; we know that by working with and enabling our communities to work together we can build upon what\\\’s already strong within our neighbourhoods and explore new ways of working to make the most of local assets, knowledge, skills, and resources.
