About The Role
We have a part‑time role available at our Kirkley Hall campus. The main focus of the role will be planning, leading and delivering exceptional quality GCSE and Functional Skills mathematics programmes to 16‑19‑year‑old students as part of the college’s Enhanced Curriculum.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high quality, sequenced teaching, learning and assessment.
- Teach students to exceptionally high standards using appropriate, varied and responsive student‑centred approaches which embrace learning technologies and innovation to enhance the student experience.
- Actively engage in reflective practice and contribute to the wider professional development programme.
- Liaise effectively with the wider curriculum and support teams to ensure appropriate and high‑quality academic support is provided.
- Participate in college recruitment and marketing events where required.
Qualifications
- Level 5 (minimum) Diploma in Education and Training – or a commitment to complete this with two years.
- Level 6 (degree level) qualification in Mathematics or a related subject is desirable.
- Minimum of Level 3 is essential.
- Level 2 English Language.

- Planning, developing, and leading a programme.

- Experience of teaching in the Further Education sector.
