We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and proactive teacher to join our team as a Cover Supervisor. This vital role supports the continued learning and development of our 16‑18 year old students by supervising and delivering whole‑class teaching and learning activities during short‑term teacher absences across a wide variety of subject areas and levels. The Cover Supervisor will deliver pre‑set work and assist students with their activities, ensuring a constructive and positive learning environment at all times.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support students in completing pre‑prepared tasks and activities.
- Promote and manage classroom behaviour to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Respond to students' questions and provide assistance with their work.
- Liaise with curriculum staff regarding student progress.
- Enjoy working with young people aged 16‑18.
Qualifications
- Possesses excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be energetic, well‑motivated, and flexible.
- Work independently and show initiative.
