Grace Darling Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and committed Thrive Practitioner to join our team and make a real difference to the emotional wellbeing, behaviour and learning of our children.
As a Thrive Practitioner, you will help children develop the skills they need to manage emotions, build positive relationships, develop resilience, and feel confident in school. You will provide a safe, supportive environment where every child feels listened to, valued and understood.

Main Roles and Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and small-group Thrive interventions and programmes.
- Support children to develop emotional literacy, including recognising and expressing emotions and managing stress, anger, grief and conflict.
- Help children develop positive relationships, social interaction and friendship skills.
- Provide targeted Thrive support during playtimes and lunchtimes.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, helping them to support their child's learning, behaviour and wellbeing.
