Within Dragonflies, the skilled and committed team works collaboratively to create a safe, supportive and inspiring learning environment. The provision is carefully tailored to meet each pupil's needs, in line with their education, health and care plan (EHCP). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, working as part of a team that is deeply committed to inclusion and excellence. Please note, this role is 1.0fte on a 1 year fixed term contract.
Main Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that support pupils' individual needs and align with the curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all children can succeed.
- Work collaboratively with the SENDCo, teachers, support staff and external professionals to ensure pupils receive the support they need.
- Apply current educational thinking and effective SEND strategies to raise attainment and promote progress.
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, supporting both their learning and emotional development.
- Ensure all documentation and records are completed in line with school policies and procedures.
- Encourage pupils to explore new interests and develop independence, confidence and a love of learning.
