Location:Belfast Salary: £27,000 – £28,000 (Negotiable depending on experience) Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Hybrid model is not available with this position) Responsible to: Managing Director Northern Irelands largest digital printer, Northside Graphics Limited is looking for a new member for their office based Support Team with a specific responsibility for assisting the Directors in all aspects of HR. Job Purpose To manage the HR Function and be a point of contact for all staff, to provide advice and support as required. Summary of main tasks and responsibilities Carry out transactional HR duties within the business which employs 70+ people and acting as the point of contact for all HR matters. Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures in accordance with company policies Ensure employment data is accurately recorded and maintained, including sickness and holiday trackers. Full responsibility for data collection and submission of FEC Annual Return Confidently provide advice, guidance to Senior management and team members on HR best practices in order to positively influence people management across the business. Data collection for payroll purposes Starter/Leavers, Overtime, Statutory payments etc Manage the candidate application experience including all documentation, contracts, offer letters and induction process Managing the end-to-end recruitment process Manage leaver process including exit interviews Respond to staff queries in a timely manner Implement and maintain best practice for all HR Functions. Ensure all work is carried out in line with the companys goal for continuous improvement. Any other reasonable duties at the request of Management. Essential Criteria GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above CIPD qualification, or working towards CIPD accreditation 1 2 years experience in a HR Officer, Advisor, or similar role. Excellent MS Office skills including Excel and Word. Desirable Criteria CIPD Level 5 HR Management 2-3 years experience in a HR Officer, Advisor or similar role Experience working within Production and Manufacturing Experience with Time and Attendance software. Skills: An HR Advisor is expected to bring with them the following skills and a willingness to develop them further: Good Communication Skills- Building good relationships is fundamental to the delivery of our services. Organisational Skills- The ability to manage your own workload and to work to team and project deadlines. Teamwork and Cooperation- The ability to be flexible, co-operative and willing to work extra hours as required to meet the needs of the business.
