We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Systems Administrator to join our pioneering team working at the intersection of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT). You’ll help design, develop, and maintain secure infrastructure for naval platform management systems—supporting both surface ships and submarines. This role is part of our mission systems team, where innovation meets purpose. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of our development environment and final product—contributing directly to national defence and global security.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing ICS Infrastructure for naval platforms, ensuring high availability and defence-grade security.
- Integrating IT/OT systems to support mission-critical operations.
- Managing Windows Server and Red Hat Linux environments, optimising for performance and compliance.
- Implementing virtualisation solutions (VMware, Hyper-V) to support scalable development.
- Maintaining IT assets and automating monitoring/reporting across the development environment.
- Enforcing cybersecurity standards, conducting vulnerability scans, and ensuring regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, IEC 62443).
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure, ideally with IT/OT integration.
- Strong skills in Windows Server domains and Red Hat Linux.
- Hands-on experience with virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with defence regulations and secure system design.
- Experience in IT asset management and automated monitoring tools.
