As a Business Change Manager, you will play a pivotal role within our UK National Security Solutions Mission Ready team, helping to embed and deliver continuous improvement across our Civil and Intelligence and Defence operating units. You will ensure that the people impacted by change are ready, willing and able to adopt new ways of working. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering, digital and operational teams, you will help deliver transformation initiatives that land successfully, drive adoption and realise tangible business benefits.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of people, process and technology, and who is motivated by enabling meaningful, sustainable change in a complex engineering environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead end-to-end business change activities for transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring successful adoption and measurable outcomes.
  • Assess change impacts across processes, digital systems, stakeholders and culture, tailoring change approaches to different delivery frameworks such as Agile, Lean or PRINCE2.
  • Develop and deliver change readiness, training and communication strategies that support successful deployment and go-live.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, creating effective two-way communication channels and managing resistance to change.
  • Support implementation through user engagement, training materials, user guides and feedback loops to improve adoption and satisfaction.
  • Contribute business analysis activities including requirements elicitation, process mapping, benefits realisation and optimisation of future-state ways of working.

What we’re looking for:

Essential experience and skills:
  • Proven experience delivering business change within complex, multidisciplinary engineering or technology-led environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, engaging communication.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, working confidently with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills, including presentation delivery.
Desirable:
  • Experience delivering business change within the Defence or National Security sectors.
  • Knowledge of formal change methodologies such as Prosci, and/or continuous improvement approaches.
  • Exposure to business analysis, project delivery or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Professional certifications in Business Change, Business Analysis or Continuous Improvement.
