Your Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to design, build, and maintain mission-critical systems.
  • Administer systems, applications, and databases based on Linux operating systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot IP networking systems.
  • Automate system deployment, operation, and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tooling.
  • Continuously expand your skills, maintaining and enhancing relevant certifications.

Your Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience working within IT Systems Design, Deployment, and Administration, with recent roles in Technical or Team Leadership positions.
  • Extensive experience in administration of Linux and Windows Operating Systems within large corporate environments.
  • Experience in administering Containerised systems in Docker, OpenShift, and/or Kubernetes.
  • Experience automating tasks using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet, or Python.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting IPv4 Networking, including Subnetting, OSPF Routing, VLANs, and VPNs.

“As a Lead Engineer, I investigate and implement the latest tools to design, build, and support Linux-based solutions, using Infrastructure as Code and automation tooling to build and deploy environments and applications across containerized and virtualized environments. I mentor junior team members in Linux and automation, driving code quality and best practices.”
