As a Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering impactful solutions within agile software delivery teams. Working closely with Product Owners, delivery teams and stakeholders, you will turn complex challenges into clear, actionable insights that drive meaningful change. You will be embedded within a collaborative team environment, helping to guide decision‑making, define requirements and ensure solutions meet both user needs and strategic objectives. Your work will directly contribute to delivering secure, innovative capabilities in complex and often ambiguous environments.
Responsibilities
- Acting as the bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business and user needs
- Eliciting, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements in agile delivery environments
- Supporting Product Owners to prioritise and maintain well‑defined backlogs aligned to project goals
- Facilitating workshops, discussions and stakeholder engagement to clarify complex problems and drive decisions
- Applying systems thinking to understand wider organisational impacts and improve processes, services and technology
- Evaluating delivered solutions to ensure they meet desired outcomes and recommending enhancements where required
Qualifications
- Experience working within agile software delivery teams, including writing and managing user stories or tickets
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work in complex, ambiguous environments
- Ability to engage, influence and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence or GitLab
- Knowledge or experience within Defence, Security or highly regulated environments is beneficial
- A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail
