As a Cloud Solutions Lead within our Cyber & Intelligence business, you will play a critical role in shaping how secure cloud technologies are applied across defence, government and national security environments. You will sit at the intersection of technology, customer insight, and business growth, working closely with customers, engineering teams, and business development to design innovative cloud-based solutions that solve complex mission challenges.
This is a senior, high-impact role where you will:
- Influence strategy and solution design across Mission Systems Europe
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners
- Drive new opportunities from concept through to successful delivery
You will be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team in our Secure Cloud Solutions capability, helping to define how cloud technologies deliver real-world impact in highly secure environments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building strong, trusted relationships with customers to understand mission needs and shape impactful cloud solutions
- Leading the development of high-level solution concepts, aligned to customer requirements and Northrop Grumman UK capabilities
- Contributing to bids, proposals, and capture activities to improve probability of win and deliver customer-focused outcomes
- Identifying and driving new business opportunities, including the creation of intellectual property and internal business cases
- Acting as a bridge between customers, engineering, product teams, and business leadership to ensure aligned, deliverable solutions
- Providing thought leadership in secure cloud technologies, supporting both strategy and innovation across the business
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience working in cloud technologies, ideally within defence, government, or security sectors
- Strong knowledge of at least one major Cloud Service Provider (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP), including commercial models and funding mechanisms
- Experience supporting business development, go-to-market strategies, or technical pre-sales activities
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and translate complex requirements into clear solutions
- Commercial awareness and experience working in medium to large organisations
- Ability to manage competing priorities and contribute effectively in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience contributing to bids and capture management
- Exposure to secure or classified environments
- A passion for emerging technologies and how they can solve real-world challenges
