In this role, you will conduct and report IVVTQA activities for your allocated programmes throughout the engineering lifecycle ensuring compliance of our products. You will be a key part of a multi-disciplined engineering team who are core to successful delivery of NGUK projects.
Our UK Defence business is a Sovereign software and systems centre of excellence. As well as developing and supporting UK wide and internationally deployed multi-domain command and control systems, our work is critical to the modern backbone of the Royal Navy. Responsibilities
- Continuous implementation of IVVTQA best practice and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
- Conduct V&V activities in compliance with approved management plans, using approved methods, competent personnel, effective delivery systems and processes
- Own, manage, implement and deliver an evidence based approach for IVVTQA activities relating to project/programme.
- Plan, conduct and report task activities to the level of Quality expected by the V&V and Project management, including:
- Project requirements V&V input,
- Design Estimate compilation,
- Compilation, issue and review of management plans, processes and metrics,
- Project Design & Risk reviews,
- IADT activities,
- Reporting task progress to timescale and quality requirements,
- Fault/Issue investigation, review and reporting
- Implementation of Project security measures related to V&V activities
- Reporting to NG Management and Project teams

We Are Looking For
- Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent experience in IVVTQA/ITEA for Systems Engineering/Software Engineering or Control Systems Engineering.
- Competent in the use of DOORS or similar requirements management and test tools.
- Experience of planning and conduct of IVVTQA activities within a Systems Engineering lifecycle.
- Natural problem solver, through RCA, develop solutions to a variety of problems, plan/implement remediation actions to resolution.
- Previous IVVTQA experience in accordance with Military/Defence/Industry Standards.

Implementing V&V will bring you into contact with numerous stakeholders and we champion the ability to ensure our products meet the Customers expectation through delivery of an evidence-based approach.
We are a growing team of V&V engineers, our Account based structure promotes collaboration with the other engineering practices, learning from each other and opportunities within NGUK. Our aim is to become more skilled and practiced in the application of different methodologies, tools and practices to quantify an understanding of a capability of the associated system; then applying concepts to provide progressive ensurance and aid the success of technical delivery.
