A strong supply chain is the backbone of any successful business. We’re seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive value creation across our supplier base for advanced maritime technology solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for key categories
- Lead RFQ/RFP processes and secure optimal total cost of ownership
- Drive cost optimisation through benchmarking, value engineering, and negotiation of long-term agreements
- Build strong supplier relationships and implement SRM frameworks to improve performance and resilience
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Product Development to align sourcing with design and NPI projects
- Manage risk and compliance, ensuring continuity of supply and adherence to safety, sustainability, and ethical standards
About You
You’re a commercially savvy leader who thrives on building strong supplier partnerships and delivering cost efficiencies in complex, global environments. Proven experience in strategic sourcing or category management within maritime, aerospace, automotive, defence, or similar high-tech sectors.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of SRM frameworks, cost management techniques, and inventory control
- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or equivalent
- Ability to work in a global, matrixed environment and lead change initiatives
