We’re looking for an Application Engineer – Radar & ECDIS, to become the subject matter expert for Sperry’s VisionMaster Radar and ECDIS product lines. This is a pivotal role that sits at the heart of the business, supporting the full value stream - from early sales engagement through to solution delivery.
If you enjoy combining deep technical knowledge with real-world application, influencing solutions, and working cross-functionally with sales, engineering, project delivery, and customers, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to broaden your impact and visibility across Sperry.
As an Application Engineer, you will:
- Act as the technical authority for VisionMaster Radar and ECDIS systems
- Support sales and bid activities by defining system architectures, specifications, and configurations
- Translate customer and regulatory requirements into practical, compliant solutions
- Provide technical guidance during project execution, ensuring solutions are correctly delivered
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and service teams to feed back operational and market insights
- Support troubleshooting and complex technical queries where deep product expertise is required
About You

- Strong technical knowledge of marine navigation systems, particularly Radar and/or ECDIS

- Experience in applications engineering, systems engineering, technical support, or a similar role (preferred)
