This is more than just a job; it’s a mission. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and maintaining the critical infrastructure that powers our services. You’ll work across a variety of exciting projects and complex challenges, helping to deliver core capabilities that have meaningful, real‑world impact. You’ll bring technical leadership and a proactive mindset, guiding engineers through delivery and engineering challenges to support customer and programme requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Perform hands‑on development and actively contribute to the code base, including undertaking peer reviews.
- Design engineering features that support delivery of the product roadmap and clearly articulate design decisions.
- Break down large pieces of work into well‑defined tasks aligned with Agile delivery.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, taking ownership of build and deployment processes.
- Demonstrate development progress to internal and external customers through clear, confident presentations.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer, with strong skills in CI/CD, containerisation, deployment technologies and cloud platforms (such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, IaC, Docker and AWS).
- Experience in Linux system administration or similar operating systems.
- Understanding of database technologies, such as SQL, Elasticsearch or MongoDB.
- Strong communication, collaboration and problem‑solving skills, ideally gained in an agile environment.
