Salary: £43,000.00 - £64,600.00

Role:

As a Lead Quality Auditor, you will maintain the Integrated Management System Audit schedule, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Reporting to the Management Systems and Audit Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement. You will support the maintenance of existing external ISO accreditations and the attainment of new ISO accreditations to support the business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the implementation of National Security Solutions Audit Schedule
  • Support in the maintenance of existing ISO accreditations
  • Support in the attainment of new ISO accreditations as required
  • Maintain the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) Audit Schedule to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. ISO 9001, 20000-1, 27001, 14001)
  • Evaluate existing Audit Schedule to identify inefficiencies, gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Support Quality Audits to ensure the Audit Schedule is maintained
  • Perform Internal audits to ensure compliance with internal processes, regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Support External and Corporate Audits as required and ensure preparation, reviews and plans have been completed and communicated
  • Perform independent Non-conformance Effectiveness reviews

Essential qualifications / experience:

  • ISO 9001 Lead auditor
  • Detailed knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 20000 and ISO 14001 standards
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining management systems in accordance with the above standards
  • Experience in managing libraries of process documentation
  • Previous experience in implementing process improvement initiatives
  • Previous experience of working in cross-functional teams; the ability to build strong, positive working relationships with colleagues outside of your team is vital to success in this role
