What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and maintain a robust Health and Safety Management System aligned to ISO 45001
- Provide expert advice on risk management, legislative compliance, and functional safety across UK sites
- Plan and conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments, including PSIF risks
- Investigate incidents, manage corrective actions, and drive sustainable safety improvements
- Develop, review, and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and guidance
- Deliver and oversee health and safety training, emergency preparedness, and awareness programmes
- Chair the UK Health and Safety Committee and support EMEA-level safety governance
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
What You’ll Bring
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (or working towards)
- NEBOSH General Certificate and NEBOSH Fire Certificate
- ISO 45001 Internal Auditor qualification
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a health and safety role within complex or regulated environments
- Strong experience working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, instructions, and procedures to ensure functional safety compliance
- High capability in health and safety data analysis across multiple systems
- Professional membership with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health
Security Clearance
Due to the nature of our work, you must be a UK national and be able to gain and maintain a UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance.
