As a Project Support Officer, you will support the delivery of complex, mission‑critical projects that contribute directly to the UK’s national security. Working within a collaborative project environment, you will help ensure projects are delivered in line with organisational strategy, standards, policies and processes. You will work closely with project managers, delivery teams and key stakeholders, responding to dynamic project needs and supporting governance, reporting and performance management. This is an excellent opportunity to build experience across high‑profile programmes while developing your career within a leading defence and technology organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the coordination, implementation and delivery of projects in line with organisational standards and strategy
- Organising and supporting engagements with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting project governance, performance management, reporting and documentation
- Assisting with forecasting and tracking of project costs, resources and schedules
- Scheduling, reviewing and managing project artefacts to ensure quality and consistency
- Capturing and tracking risks, issues, actions and key performance metrics
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting projects, including planning and delivery against scope, cost and requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative, consultancy‑style approach
- Experience of governance control, reporting and performance management
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, changing environment
