Responsibilities

  • As a Co‐ordinator, you will be responsible for delivery of a sustainable supply chain to support business needs.
  • Working within the defined processes and procedure, you will protect the commercial and financial interests of the company whilst ensuring that customer needs are met.
  • This role will include some strategic activities through optimisation of spend, collaboration with 3rd parties and developing ways of working through continuous improvement exercises and operation delivery such as demand forecasting, PO management, materials sourcing, scheduling and inventory management.
  • Working in accordance with NG policies, procedures and values, challenging and improving where needed.
  • Supplier Sourcing: Carrying out RFQ/RFP/RFI (RFx) activities to support programme demand including; Issuing RFx, Receiving, interpreting and summarising responses, Negotiation, Schedule to needs and preferential terms and conditions, Implementation of Contract agreements with appropriate customer flow‐downs.
  • Plan and manage stakeholder relationships to understand supply chain requirements, and assure delivery of supplier performance.
  • Maintaining ERP system.
  • Identifying complex contracting requirements for escalation.
  • Supplier Relationship Management including; Supplier assessment, Performance monitoring, Appropriate engagement from suppliers/programmes.
  • Working with senior supply chain team members as required to ensure cohesive approaches.
  • Adhere to the Social value initiatives laid out in the NGUKL Code Of Conduct into working practice.
  • Monitor and manage supply issues, providing status updates and reports as requested.

We are looking for

  • Essential qualifications/experience: Qualified in a relevant subject or equivalent experience, Proven track record of developing strong professional relationships, Experience and understanding of how supply chain operates within an organisation, including Purchase to Pay cycle.
  • Preferred qualifications/experience: CIPS qualified/working towards, Procuring and Subcontracting professional and technical services, Knowledge of Import/Export control including US export controls, Proven track record of building strong supplier relationships, Evidenced success in negotiating and managing subcontracts.

Security clearance

You must be able to gain and maintain the relevant UK Government security clearance in line with the job role (SC).
