Northrop Grumman's MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Northrop Grumman.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying and managing the Triton Network integration risks, through close engagement with the customer to mitigate the impact on safety and capability.
- Work closely with US counterparts to grow and develop a deep technical knowledge of Triton network to evolve in-country service support.
- Aim to become a Subject Matter Expert on Triton Network systems and integration protocols.
- Work closely with the Mission Systems Team to support ongoing management of the Triton mission system through evaluation and assessment of Triton network changes.
- Deliver outcomes as assigned from the Triton Interim Support Contract and relevant statements of work.
About You
You will be degree-qualified in either IT or Engineering and have a breadth of experience working with multiple stakeholders to achieve outcomes. Experience with Network Engineering is essential, as well as possessing a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent level of Cisco Certification. You will have experience with the network development life cycle process, routing and switching systems, defence systems, Network information and event management systems, simulations and load tests, programming languages and more. You will be friendly and engaged, with an ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and hit milestones as well as pick up new systems quickly.
