Description: Northrop Grumman's MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Northrop Grumman.
Your Role: As the Avionics Engineer, you will provide Aerospace related designs, analysis and other technical support services. You will also be responsible for:
- Management and Administration in accordance with Northrop Grumman Work Instructions
- Development, Review and approval of engineering instruments before release to customers
- Provide Engineering Support
- Manage the delegated personal scope of the engineering workflow and backlog in coordination
- Investigate, report and communicate engineering compliance issues to the Engineering and Technical Services Manager
- Provide support and knowledge in the Continuing Airworthiness Support
About You: As an experienced Aircraft Engineer, you must have:
- Experience as a Professional Engineer within the Aviation industry
- Experience and Knowledge around document/configuration management and project management tools
- Experience in mentoring and coaching technical staff
Desirable but not essential:
- Direct technical experience in an aircraft related through Life Support Program
- Commercial/ Business management Acumen
- Experience with other Defence Contractors
