The Opportunity This is more than just a job; it’s a mission. As a Proposal Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting a surge in opportunities and growth. Reporting directly to the Head of Bids, you will provide operational assistance to the wider BD, Capture and Bid teams, with specific focus on frameworks, proposal management, data analysis, reporting and competitive/market intelligence. You’ll join an established, energized, collaborative and supportive business development team who are focused on delivering growth for our customers and stakeholders at a time where Northrop Grumman UK is experiencing unprecedented growth. What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for frameworks and call offs, liaising with internal and external teams to ensure compliance.
- Drive the generation of non-complex/call-off proposals, outlining the proposal structure, setting the schedule and allocation of section/contribution responsibilities to the relevant subject matter expert.
- Continuously monitor progress and content of proposal team contributions/inputs as appropriate to ensure that our offer is suitably and independently reviewed and challenged to ensure it best represents our offer, our approach and our capabilities.
- Manage the key in-process proposal submission reviews to establish a high quality, competitive and ultimately market differentiating proposal.
- Ensure compliance with the business acquisition process.
- Gather, analyse and report on data sets to deliver actionable intelligence and strategic insights to drive business decisions.
- Working with the Head of Bids, champion a theme of collaboration, improvement and best practice utilising the tools and processes contained within the IMS.
- Support with clear and concise reporting from all systems (e.g. Salesforce, SAP) on a regular basis, including ensuring validity of data contained within these systems.
- Support other functions, systems and tools within the BD team as and when required, e.g. graphic design, writing, lessons learnt tracker, content library etc.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience of operating within the constraints of formal tendering processes, using procurement portals such as Award and Bravo.
- Clear demonstrable experience in product and service bid documentation.
- Experienced in the creation and delivery of clear and concise progress reporting.
- Experience in government or defence sectors.
- Experience in research and data collection and analysis.
