The Opportunity

As a Lead Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making across national security and defence. Working within our Mission Systems Europe business, you will lead complex analytical workstreams, deliver high-quality intelligence assessments, and provide senior stakeholders with the insight they need to act with confidence. You will operate at the intersection of intelligence, policy and operations, spending the majority of your time embedded in customer-facing projects, often within secure environments. Alongside delivery, you will act as a role model and mentor, helping to shape and strengthen our intelligence capability as the threat landscape continues to evolve.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the production of high-quality intelligence assessments in complex and sensitive environments
  • Applying advanced structured analytic techniques and behavioural frameworks to ambiguous problem sets
  • Owning analytical workstreams and delivering clear, actionable intelligence outputs
  • Briefing senior stakeholders confidently, both in writing and face-to-face
  • Integrating perspectives from cross-functional teams to deepen analytical insight
  • Translating customer context and operational insights into clear, actionable requirements

What You’ll Bring

Essential experience and skills:
  • Proven experience leading complex or sensitive intelligence assessments in secure customer environments
  • Ability to deliver strategic-level insight and evidence-based recommendations that influence decisions
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, including the ability to challenge constructively
  • Demonstrable experience integrating multiple intelligence sources, such as OSINT, HUMINT and others
  • Experience influencing policy, operational planning or tasking in dynamic environments
  • Domain expertise in at least two areas such as defence intelligence, information operations, cyber threats, terrorism or organised crime
  • Experience mentoring or developing junior analysts and contributing to thought leadership
Desirable experience:
  • Exposure to multi-domain or fusion-cell intelligence environments
  • Experience operating in international or deployed headquarters
  • Awareness or application of data science principles to intelligence analysis
  • Experience working under time pressure with limited information to deliver decisive insight
