Description

Northrop Grumman\’s MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles. Australia is a cooperative program partner in the Triton program which consists of the US Navy, Royal Australian Air Force and Northrop Grumman.

Your Role:

As the Air Vehicle Lead Engineer, you will manage the Air Vehicle team while providing engineering and technical services to the Triton Maintenance Organisation. You will also be accountable for:

  • Manage Technical Information

  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with all partners

  • Production of reports to support effective workload and workforce management

  • Support the development of improvement strategies and plans for continuous improvement

  • Maintaining an effective resource planning/workforce planning system

About You:

As an experience Air Vehicle, you will understand the Defence/Aerospace industry leading technical Terms. You will also have:

  • Demonstrated Engineering/Technical Knowledge

  • Technical Experience in an Aircraft in an aircraft related TLS program

  • Experience in project management, planning and scheduling tools

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience and Technical Knowledge in Civil commercial aircraft program

  • Knowledge of working within ISO 9001 Standard frameworks
