My client is a Hertfordshire based Housing Association operating across Hertfordshire and a number of surrounding counties. They have recently re-shaped the IT function and implemented Azure to better support their network of employees and residents. As such, they are looking to hire a Platform Team Manager to join the team.
This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of a complex network that connects over the sites. Responsibilities include:
- Evolving the design and architecture, overseeing, and managing the Azure and on-premises infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Managing and maintaining a complex network that connects over the sites, ensuring seamless connectivity and communication across all locations.
- Utilising excellent problem-solving skills to address and resolve any issues that arise within the infrastructure and network.
- Managing a team of engineers, providing mentorship, support, and performance evaluations to ensure the team operates at its best.

Strong technical background with expertise in cloud computing, networking, and infrastructure management is required. Experience in end-to-end project management in infrastructure projects is essential. A degree or equivalent professional qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is necessary, along with relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect.
