We’re partnering with a high-growth fintech redefining how people engage with long-term savings. With £1BN+ under management, strong backing, and profitability on the horizon, the business is entering a critical phase: scaling effectively while maintaining a genuinely strong culture.

The Role (What You’ll Actually Be Doing)

This isn’t a traditional, siloed HR role. As a Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll work closely with senior leadership to support the growth of a multi-country business (UK + Europe), helping to shape a high-performing, engaged organisation. You’ll act as a trusted partner to leaders while also being hands-on across core People initiatives.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Partnering with senior leaders to drive a high-performance, high-trust culture
  • Supporting and delivering core People operations (contracts, policies, payroll inputs, compliance)
  • Helping design and embed a clear and fair performance framework
  • Coaching managers on expectations, feedback, and accountability
  • Managing employee relations cases with confidence and sound judgement
  • Supporting cross-border People matters (UK + European entity)
  • Bringing structure and clarity while maintaining business agility

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll balance strategic input with operational delivery.

What They’re Looking For

You might currently be:

  • A Senior HR Business Partner in a scaling business
  • Or an experienced HRBP ready to step into a broader, more strategic role

Either way, you’re comfortable:

  • Influencing and challenging senior stakeholders
  • Working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Balancing culture, performance, and commercial outcomes

Key experience:

  • Strong grounding in UK employment law
  • Experience in a scaling environment (tech, fintech, or start-up preferred)
  • Exposure to building or improving performance frameworks
  • Confident handling employee relations independently
  • Experience supporting international teams (Europe ideal)

What Makes This Role Different

  • Real influence without the burden of heavy hierarchy
  • Direct exposure to leadership and decision-making
  • Opportunity to shape how the business scales its people practices
  • A company that genuinely cares about culture and performance

What This Role Isn’t

  • Not purely operational HR
  • Not suited to heavily process-driven, corporate environments
  • Not a team management role — this is an individual contributor role with high impact
