We are seeking a Senior Bioinformatician to join a growing Data Science team and play a key role in supporting discovery and translational research efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with internal and external partners, driving the design and analysis of high-dimensional, multimodal datasets to accelerate therapeutic development. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with biologists, data scientists, and external partners to design experiments, develop analysis plans, and extract actionable biological insights through iterative data exploration.
  • Translate complex scientific questions into analytical strategies and communicate insights effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to research across various phases of the discovery pipeline, including target identification, validation, and translational studies.
  • Develop and apply novel analytical approaches to integrate and interpret diverse data types.

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, or a related discipline, with 3+ years of relevant postdoctoral or industry experience.
  • Solid programming experience in Python and/or R, along with familiarity with cloud computing (e.g., AWS or GCP), containerization tools like Docker, and workflow managers such as Nextflow or Snakemake.
  • Strong grounding in statistics and/or machine learning, including common approaches like clustering, classification, dimensionality reduction, and regression modeling.
  • Demonstrated experience working with one or more of the following data types: Single-cell and/or bulk transcriptomics / Spatial omics (e.g., spatial transcriptomics or multiplex imaging) / Multi-modal data integration (e.g., combining genomics with clinical or imaging data)
  • A track record of delivering biological insights in a drug discovery or translational research setting, with experience identifying biomarkers or therapeutic targets.
  • Familiarity with best practices in version control, reproducible research, and collaborative development environments (e.g., Git, Jupyter, notebooks, code review).
