As a Mass Spectrometry Scientist, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and applying mass spectrometry-based methods to analyze a variety of biomolecules and small molecules. You will work on client-driven projects, ensuring the highest quality standards and regulatory compliance in all analytical processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate mass spectrometry-based analytical methods for qualitative and quantitative analysis of biomolecules, peptides, proteins, and small molecules.
  • Operate and maintain high-resolution mass spectrometers (e.g., Orbitrap, QTOF, triple quadrupole).
  • Perform sample preparation, LC-MS/MS analysis, and data interpretation for client studies.
  • Ensure compliance with GLP/GMP standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to design and execute analytical strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize instrument performance and analytical workflows.
  • Document and report findings in a clear, concise, and regulatory-compliant manner.

Key Requirements:

  • PhD or MSc in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mass spectrometry, preferably in a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech environment.
  • Hands-on experience with high-resolution LC-MS/MS instrumentation.
  • Strong expertise in method development and validation for biomolecule characterization.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (GLP, GMP, ICH).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
