The predicted salary is between 37800 - 46200 Β£ per year.

The Opportunity We are working with a life sciences business looking to appoint a Business Operations Manager on an initial six-month contract.

This is a varied, hands-on position supporting senior leadership across business operations, commercial administration, finance coordination and general company support.

The role would suit someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing several priorities independently within a small and evolving organisation.

Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day business and commercial operations.

Coordinate confidentiality agreements and other standard documentation.

Maintain organised document-management processes and accurate company records.

Support the management of shared information platforms, including access control, document uploads and version management.

Maintain records of external contacts, commercial activity and ongoing discussions.

Assist with the preparation and updating of presentations, reports and internal documents.

Support contract administration and general compliance activities.

Assist with invoice processing, account reconciliation and scheduled payments.

Coordinate information between internal teams, external advisers and service providers.

Provide general operational and administrative support to senior leadership.

Support onboarding and wider company administration as the organisation grows.

Experience and Skills Previous experience in business operations, commercial support, project support or administration.

Experience within life sciences, healthcare, technology or another regulated industry would be beneficial.

Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

Comfortable handling confidential information and business-critical documents.

Able to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.

Confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and document-management systems.

Experience with finance or accounting platforms would be advantageous.

Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working within a growing business.
