About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the people function and drive HR strategy, employee engagement, and compliance. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the business and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all HR functions, including employee relations (ER), recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage HR metrics and reporting, providing insights to leadership on workforce trends.
- Handle disciplinary procedures, acting as an Investigating Officer and ensuring all documentation is managed appropriately.
- Oversee leave management, payroll reviews, benefits administration, and compensation planning (bonuses, promotions, car and travel allowances, leases).
- Support TUPE transfers where applicable.
- Take responsibility for office management, IT, training, health & safety, insurance, and facilities management.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably within financial services or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience handling employee relations, recruitment, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple locations and work with senior stakeholders.
- Experience with TUPE and HR consulting is a plus.
- A CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
