We are partnering with a FinTech lender who are looking for a Head of Operations to join their scaling team to work alongside the CEO and senior management to translate business strategy into execution.
The primary responsibility will be to maintain excellence in day to day delivery for the Operations Team, leading from the front and delivering exceptional service to customers. You will have full oversight of Credit Risk, Customer Service, Growth and Finance as well as external partners. Reporting to and partnering with the CEO and Founder you will also be involved in strategic objectives and project delivery ranging from process improvement and efficiency to system changes and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities- Day to day leadership and management of all operational teams
- Motivating and developing the team
- Defining hiring plans and performance management frameworks
- Driving culture β collaboration, ownership and autonomy are key pillars of company culture
- Maintaining excellence internally and externally
- Working with external partners investors, regulators and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulation inc AML/KYC, GDPR and Consumer Duty
- Key part of Senior Management team
This role is a mixture of hands on doing and strategic leadership. You will need to have a delivery focussed mindset and be comfortable diving in with sleeves rolled up to get things done!
- Experience working in a start-up Fintech environment <30HC>
- Experience working in a scaling organisation β employees, customers and financially
- Proven leadership capability
- Comfortable working in a fast paced ever changing environment
- Project delivery experience β process improvement, regulatory, technology
- Ability to translate commercial and business strategy into actionable operational objectives
- Experience working in a regulated financial services environment β strong preference for lending experience
This role is hybrid working with a minimum 2 days pw in their offices in Central London.
