Ready to sell a product that’s genuinely changing an industry? We’re partnering with a high-growth UK FinTech in the employee benefits sector that is challenging traditional providers with modern technology, a simpler customer experience and a fresh approach to workplace pensions. The business is well-funded, growing rapidly and already supports tens of thousands of savers and thousands of businesses.
As the direct sales channel continues to scale, they’re looking for an ambitious Account Executive to play a key role in converting qualified businesses into new customers.
The Role
This is a full-cycle, consultative B2B sales role where you’ll own the sales process from the first substantive conversation through to close. You’ll engage directly with HR, Finance and senior business decision-makers, understanding how they currently manage workplace pensions, identifying their challenges and priorities, and demonstrating how the company's solution can deliver a better experience for both employers and employees. You’ll need to build trust, uncover genuine business needs, navigate multiple stakeholders and create a compelling case for change.
What You’ll Do
- Own a pipeline of qualified opportunities and convert them into new customers
- Lead discovery meetings with HR, Finance and senior business leaders
- Understand customers’ existing pension arrangements, workflows, challenges and requirements
- Run tailored product demonstrations and presentations
- Build relationships with multiple stakeholders throughout the buying process
- Handle objections around regulation, risk, trust, switching and implementation
- Develop compelling commercial cases for change
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial conversation through to close
- Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Maintain accurate CRM, forecasting and pipeline management
- Work closely with SDRs to maximise meeting quality and conversion
- Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships and Product to improve the direct sales proposition
- Share customer insight to help shape the company's approach to the market
What We’re Looking For
You’re a commercially driven B2B Account Executive or experienced closing professional who enjoys consultative selling and taking ownership of the entire sales process. You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience in a B2B Account Executive or closing role
- A strong track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets
- Experience selling directly to businesses and senior decision-makers
- Excellent discovery, presentation, objection-handling and closing skills
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders across HR, Finance and/or People teams
- Experience managing sales cycles from initial meeting through to close
- A consultative approach to selling rather than a transactional mindset
- Experience selling a regulated, trust-based or mission-critical product
- A strong sense of ownership and commercial accountability
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
