The predicted salary is between 20250 - 24750 £ per year.
We’re seeking an experienced and inspiring teaching assistant who:
- Is passionate about inclusion and SEND provision
- Understands the barriers to learning that children with special educational needs may face and be able to use effective strategies to support them
- Is able to relate well to children with additional needs, supporting them to regulate their feelings and emotions
- Leads by example and motivates children and colleagues
- Is creative, innovative, and committed to continuous improvement
- Is ready to take on a rewarding challenge with real impact
- Has an NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
- Has Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 1 of the National Qualification & Credit Framework
- Completed Department for Education Teaching Assistant Induction Programme (or to complete within first term)
- Has a full and relevant qualification accepted by the Department for Education (DfE) to work in an early years setting
- Has a secure knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Statutory Framework
- Displays good understanding of a child’s development and learning
- Has experience of developing learning resources that scaffold and support learning
- Demonstrates effective communication skills to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers
