Northland Controls Ltd. is looking for qualified Lead Technicians in the London area. Low-voltage, electrical experience is a requirement. Security background is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
- Terminate and test all devices with proper wiring configuration to ensure quality performance of the system.
- Ensure prompt completion of all documentation/paperwork accurately and fully on a daily or weekly basis as required.
- Communicate effectively with the Project Manager on requirements, general status, and delays of jobs daily.
- Work with the Project Manager to oversee the installation of multiple crews to ensure jobs stay on track and are completed to scheduled deadlines, including labour forecasting and changes in site working hours.
- Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors (i.e. General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, Door Furniture, etc.).
- Perform all tasks to Northland standards, ensuring quality installation techniques are practiced.
- Work with the Commissioning Engineer and the Systems Engineers on fault fixes to ensure complete system compliance.
- Keep accurate inventory of all parts onsite and to be returned for each project.
