Location: Reading or Darlington with hybrid working. This is an exciting opportunity to join Northgate Vehicle Hire as a Product Development Executive, playing a key role in shaping and developing our growing portfolio of mobility and LCV-related services. You will support the evolution of existing products and help bring new innovations to market, working closely with Product Development Managers, Sales, Marketing, and Operational teams.

You will act as a key subject matter expert for our products, ensuring internal teams understand product performance, functionality, and customer value. A core part of your role will be using data and insight to identify opportunities for growth, improve customer experience, and support the successful launch and development of new mobility solutions.

This is a varied and commercially focused role where you will combine analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and product development activity to help drive forward our “Drive to Zero” proposition and wider mobility services strategy.

About You

We are looking for an analytical, commercially minded individual with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to turn data into meaningful insight and recommendations. You will be confident working across multiple teams, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and supporting both operational and strategic product initiatives.

You will ideally have:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce clear recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence building reports and analysis independently.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across different business areas.
  • Experience working in a Sales, Marketing, Product, or analytical role (desirable).
  • An interest in mobility, LCVs, fleet services, or automotive products (desirable).
  • A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Degree level education is desirable but not essential if you can demonstrate relevant experience.
