Field-based with required travel across the South, focus on Milton Keynes area. As a New Business Manager you will promote usership over ownership to maximise sales opportunities across your territory. You will build a detailed picture of your local marketplace, target businesses to understand objectives, identify new opportunities, showcase our vehicle and support services, and add value to partners’ business. With a centralised support hub, you will create tailored proposals, manage your pipeline, and deliver the Northgate experience to life.
Salary and Benefits
- Base salary £35,000 – £40,000 per annum, enhanced by commission scheme plus a company car.
- Realistic OTE of £70,000; top performers can hit £77,500.
- Annual leave: start with 24 days, increasing to 26 days with service, plus public holidays and a birthday leave day.

About you
Prosper in B2B new business roles with success in generating new accounts – focus on creating new opportunities via self‑sourced, decision‑maker conversations. Resourceful and tenacious pipeline builder with lead‑generation toolkit, adept at cold calling, prospecting, door knocking, and vehicle spotting. Can create personalised, multi‑product/service offerings, including proposals and implementation documents. Acts as a credible ambassador, builds profitable relationships with key stakeholders. Preferably experienced in the light commercial vehicle market or contract hire sector, but the ability to take responsibility and pursue success is most important.
