At Northgate Vehicle Hire you’ll be working in a clean, modern workshop environment with the right equipment, systems and support to do the job properly. We invest heavily in our technicians through our IMI-accredited training academy, giving you the opportunity to upskill into Hybrid & EV, electrics, braking systems, tail lifts and more.
There are clear progression routes for technicians who don’t want to stay on the tools forever, with opportunities to move into senior, specialist or off‑the‑tools roles as your career develops. Northgate Vehicle Hire is one of the UK’s leading vehicle rental specialists, operating a modern in‑house fleet of around 49,000 vans and 19,000 cars across the UK, Ireland and Spain. All work is carried out in our own workshops, giving you variety without the pressure of customer‑facing jobs.
This role offers fixed day shift hours only, so no nights, no rotating patterns and a proper work‑life balance. Overtime is available when required and is paid at time and a half, not flat rate.
