Responsibilities
As the Yard Controller, you are often the face of Northgate for our customers and play an integral part in delivering a first-class experience. You will be part of a busy branch team, supporting both rentals and the workshop, while ensuring the site is clean, safe and secure. You may also deliver vehicles during busy periods. You will explain vehicle features and documents, answer queries in a helpful and positive way, and treat our fleet vehicles with care. Your eye for detail assists in capturing on- and off-hire condition, helping reduce financial risk to the business.
You do not necessarily need any previous experience to join as a Yard Controller — a can-do attitude and the confidence to deliver great service with a smile, plus a full UK or EU driving licence, are sufficient to start.
