About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for Production Operatives to join our team in the Folding Department.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, working a 2-on, 2-off shift pattern, from 5:00am to 4:50pm.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Set up and operate CNC folding machines to produce high-quality components in line with customer and business requirements.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling to achieve accurate bends and folds to specification.
- Fold and form sheet metal components in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and production documentation.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards and specifications.
- Consistently achieve daily production, quality and utilisation targets.
- Work safely at all times, following company health and safety procedures and best working practices.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
- Previous experience operating CNC folding or press brake machinery is preferred.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Organised and methodical approach to work.
