  • Producibility & Liaison: Partner directly with the Production Engineering Department to align datum and tolerance schemes with strict manufacturing and inspection requirements.
  • Analysis & Calculation: Use basic engineering principles to conduct tolerance and clearance analyses, mass optimization, and preliminary sizing calculations.
  • Legacy Product Sustainment: Reverse engineer older product data into modern formats and standards to aid in the long‑term support of existing products.

What We’re Looking For

  • Engineering Baseline: An engineering or applicable science‑based degree, or an Engineering HND backed by relevant industry experience.
  • Tolerancing Expertise: A strong, fundamental understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
  • Change Principles: Solid comprehension of configuration management and engineering change processes.
  • Technical Literacy: Experience using a PLM or PDM‑type database. Exposure to 3D CAD modelling software is required, while Siemens NX experience is preferred.
  • The Mindset: Sound numerical and verbal skills, a proactive approach to Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA), and a keen eye to minimize design iterations.
  • Share and demonstrate the Martin-Baker values.
