Please note this role can be offered on a hybrid working basis. Candidates must work 1-2 days per week from the Hemel office. For the role you will be required to apply for Security Clearance to SC level after joining. A full and clean driving licence is also required with a view of occasional travel.
Responsibilities
- Safeguard network through meticulous security and vulnerability patch management.
- Investigate alerts, respond swiftly to incidents, and provide valuable recommendations.
- Perform proactive scanning, implement ITHC remediation, and join thrilling threat hunting missions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams, automate remediation, and analyse Cisco/Palo firewalls.
- Embrace variety, get involved in exciting business activities, and work across different locations.
- Be flexible, covering out‑of‑hours work and exceeding expectations.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in large network environments.
- Proficiency in Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto/Panorama technologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills, thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Adaptable, drive customers forward in a fast‑changing IT landscape.
- Hold or obtain relevant security clearances (SC and NPPV).
- Self‑motivated, excellent communication, client‑facing skills.
- Full driving licence, awareness of recognised security practices.
Desirable
- Experience with Pulse Secure, Gemalto/Thales, network automation.
- Knowledge of patching Windows and Unix operating systems.
