We have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished and ambitious New Business Manager to join our growing team, where you will promote solutions to support compliance to cost control, delivery of cost efficiencies, improved driver safety and effective customer service, to maximise sales opportunities across your territory.
Responsibilities
- Build a detailed picture of your marketplace and target businesses to understand their objectives and identify new opportunities.
- Showcase our cutting‑edge mobility solutions and support services, and our highly talented people, to add value to partners' business.
- Prepare carefully designed solutions and tailored proposals with the support hub.
- Develop your pipeline, bring the Northgate experience to life and position the company as the partner of choice.
- Generate new accounts through self‑sourced decision‑maker conversations; use lead‑generation techniques such as research, cold calling, prospecting, door knocking, and vehicle spotting.
- Develop personalised, multi‑product/service offerings, including preparing proposals and implementation documentation.
- Act as an ambassador for the brand, building effective and profitable relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Significant success in generating new B2B accounts; this is not an account‑management role.
- Resourceful, tenacious approach to building a pipeline with a well‑developed toolbox of lead‑generation approaches.
- Understanding that one size does not fit all; able to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Credible and assured networker capable of building profitable relationships with key stakeholders.
- Preferably experience in the light commercial vehicle market or contract hire sector, though the ability to take responsibility for your performance and desire to succeed is paramount.
Benefits
- Salary up to ÂŁ40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) enhanced by a commission scheme and a company car.
- Commission cap of ÂŁ77,500 on top of salary.
- Annual leave: 24 days, increasing to 25 days with service, plus public holidays and an extra day for your birthday.
