Northgate Fleet Management is growing, and we are looking for a Customer Account Manager to support our existing customer base and ensure a high standard of service delivery across our fleet operations. This is not a sales or new business role. Instead, you will focus on managing relationships with existing customers, ensuring their fleets are running efficiently and that we consistently deliver against agreed service levels. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working closely with customers and operational teams to deliver a smooth, reliable service.
Responsibilities
- Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of existing fleet customers
- Building strong working relationships and understanding customer needs
- Monitoring fleet performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
- Managing and reviewing Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Working closely with internal teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery
- Providing regular updates and reports to customers
- Supporting continuous improvement across the customer experience
Qualifications
- Experience in a customer-facing or account management role (non-sales / service-led)
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with data and using it to support decisions
- Experience within fleet, automotive, logistics or a service-led environment is beneficial
- Confident using Microsoft Office tools
