An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational teacher to join our Media Team. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about Media, can inspire young minds, and is an excellent classroom practitioner who supports others.

The successful candidate will deliver a curriculum that builds curiosity and creativity. We are seeking an individual who has Qualified Teacher Status with an appropriate degree or the desire to train, the ability to set high expectations for students’ behaviour and achievement, the capacity to work collaboratively in a team, a secure knowledge and understanding of the subject, curriculum and pedagogy, and an enthusiasm to develop students' skills beyond the classroom.

This position has a start date of September or Easter 2026 with a salary of M1-UPS3 (£32,916 - £51,048) dependent on experience. This post has safeguarding responsibilities that require you to be engaged in regulated activity and contact with children. All positions that involve working with children are exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All applicants must declare all previous convictions and cautions, including those which would normally be considered “spent”, except those filtered in accordance with DBS rules. Applicants will be asked to complete a Self-Disclosure form and disclose any relevant convictions or matters affecting suitability to work with children. Appointment will be subject to satisfactory recruitment and vetting checks, including 2 references.

The post is subject to safeguarding checks including an Enhanced Disclosure with the Disclosure and Barring Service and, in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (2022), the school will undertake an online search via engines and social media for shortlisted candidates.
